How The Pricing Studio Started


The Pricing Studio began when it became clear that pricing shapes far more than margin. It influences perception, positioning and how a brand lives in the market. When handled with intention, it allows teams to move with clarity and confidence.

Our founder built and led the global pricing function at Charlotte Tilbury, working across more than 35 markets. Through this work, they saw how pricing affects how products land on shelf, how consumers understand value, how retailers negotiate and how confidently a brand can expand. When pricing is aligned from the start, launches become stronger, decisions become clearer and growth is more sustainable.

But across the industry, pricing is often decided late, influenced by internal opinions or shaped without the full picture. Many brands feel the pressure to move quickly, and pricing becomes something to sign off rather than something that guides direction.

The Pricing Studio was created to offer a more considered approach. One that is calm, structured and commercially grounded. One that aligns market insight, margin requirements and brand identity. One that ensures pricing feels true to the brand.
